WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF PENNINGTON GAP’S OFFICIAL WEBSITE!

I would like to personally welcome all of you to our wonderful Town!  This new website has been designed with only one person in mind – YOU!  This website is dedicated to YOU, the residents of the Town of Pennington Gap.

The Town of Pennington Gap is a vibrant and caring community which is a premier place to live, work, and raise a family.  Our website is designed to provide information and assistance to anyone interested in our Town and the services provided  to the citizens by our municipal government.

The Town Council, Town Staff, and I are continuously striving to improve our communications with you, the public; and we believe this website is an efficient and cost-effective means of staying in touch with all of our residents in matters of interest and concern to us all.  The relationship between government and the public is an important partnership, and one that we value deeply and take very seriously.  Thank you for your interest in our website, and for helping us continue to make the Town of Pennington Gap “the best”. 

In this website we offer you the information you will need to find the answers to some of your questions and to make the Town of Pennington Gap a little more familiar to you.  If you are a resident, business owner or visitor, you will discover information about Pennington Gap that you may or may not have already known.  In either case, we are extremely honored that you have chosen to visit our site today.  As Mayor, I want to make sure you are introduced to our great Town and that you are kept up to date on the many wonderful opportunities and services which Pennington Gap has to offer.  Some of the Town’s ongoing initiatives include continuing work on the Lee Theatre/Community Center project, an examination of the Leeman Complex to see what improvements and additions can be made there, a continued look at the Greenway and Walking Trail, an ATV Trail project, as well as a conceptual look at a possible RV park and other commercial development possibilities inside the Town  limits.

Our top priority is listening to you and providing the services you have told us you want in the most efficient and timely manner possible.  Please take a few moments to get to know your Town better as you take a tour through the pages of our website.  Here you’ll find a lot of information about Pennington Gap and we will continue to update, modify and add topics of interest and information whenever needed to this website.
